High Octane Glamour—See Every Celebrity Look From The 2022 Met Gala Here

All that glitters is gold.

When the Met Gala set the theme of the 2022 ball as 'In America: An Anthology of Fashion', we knew the results of the red carpet could've gone either one of two ways.
Thankfully for us, the celebrity style set has exceeded every expectation and certainly delivered on the brief of 'Gilded Glamour'.
As always, the evening's hosts were the first to arrive.
Hollywood's resident queen of festival fashion, Vanessa Hudgens, forged her crochet dresses and cowboy hats in favour for something more, well, glamourous. Hudgens set the tone for the evening in a high neck sheer gown with statement sleeves and intricate embroidery.
Our favourite quirky YouTuber, Emma Chamberlain, is clearly learning from her Met Gala debut last year, donning the most coveted red carpet silhouette of the season—a crisp shirt and maxi skirt.
Blake Lively, this years reigning queen of the red carpet, used this opportunity to sartorially reference New York's iconic architecture.
Her two-in-one Atelier Versace creation paid homage to the 1920's art-deco style of the Empire State Building, her tiara was a nod to the Statute of Liberty and her train included embroidery of the constellation cascading over the roof of Grand Central Station. Could this be a reference to her iconic Gossip Girl entrance as Serena van der Woodsen?
While we're still waiting for the other celebrity guests to arrive, we've already noticed a trend emerging from the early birds. Prepare yourselves people, we're about to see a lot of peasant sleeves.
