Khloé Kardashian Says Tristan Thomson Pressured Her Into Having Another Child While He Was Cheating

''All I know is I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date.''

Just like almost every major event in their lives, Khloé Kardashian has debuted her baby boy on season two of the family's reality TV series The Kardashians. But the 38-year-old also admitted that Tristan Thomson pressured her into having another child, mere days after he had been cheating with another woman.
Since her son's birth, Khloé hasn't shown much of her newborn on social media, but fans noticed that he did make an appearance on the season two premiere of The Kardashians, with aunty Kim Kardashian filming the birth.
During his reality TV premiere, Khloé shared some heartbreaking information about Tristan, the father of her two children, admitting that he "encouraged" her to have another child with him, days after finding out that he'd been unfaithful and conceived another child with a different woman.
"I was definitely very angry, and I think feeling bamboozled," she said in a confessional during the episode. "All I know is I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date. In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was being born, especially getting the paperwork that we saw, he found out July 2, so he did know."
According to Khloé, she shared that she and Thompson had done an embryo transfer "a couple days" before the news broke that Maralee Nichols had sued Thompson for child support.
In the first episode of the show's second season, she referred to her newborn son as, "No Name Johnson over here", leaving many to think that Khloé hadn't been keeping the name a secret, but rather, the baby simply wasn't named yet.

Known for months before the birth, Khloé's baby boy was carried and delivered via a surrogate. And while working with a surrogate would be equal parts rewarding and stressful, that latter would have been thanks to Tristan's consistent cheating scandals leading up to the birth of his son.
Months before the birth of their second baby, Tristan fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. In 2021, Maralee sued Tristan for child support and pregnancy-related fees and claimed that her recently born child was his, but Tristan denied the claims and only admitted to having a "sporadic" and ongoing sexual relationship with Nichols.
But come early 2022 and a paternity test confirmed that Tristan was the father, leading him to publicly apologise (again) to Khloé. Fans looked at the timeline of the cheating, and deduced that he would have known that the surrogate was well-and-truly pregnant with their second child when he was actively cheating.
Referring to the event in The Kardashians premiere episode, Khloé took to a confessional to share how the paternity scandal turned her world upside down, when she should have been celebrating and preparing for the birth of her baby boy.
"Ever since December, it's been this dark cloud looming over me," she said in a confessional. "Every single day, I've been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy. It's almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me."
Speaking of said trauma, the show then shared the moment when Tristan got to meet his son, with Khloé simultaneously sharing how hesitant she was to allow him to visit the hospital.
"I've been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here so I just figured, why not let him come? I'll never get this moment back," she shared.
"I am so grateful, it's such a beautiful gift that we're able to have," Khloé explained. "Now I finally get to start the healing process. "Now I get to start enjoying my life with two kids in it and figuring this out. This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive, and happy and beautiful."
