Season two left more questions than answers.

Warning: This story contains major spoilers about Fate: The Winx Saga season 2.
Bloom's fate is uncertain, Terra and Kat are together and Stella is reeling. For any fan of Fate: The Winx Saga, that sentence alone is enough to demand answers from a third season of the popular series.
The cliff-hanger ending to the second instalment left us with a plethora of unanswered questions about the fairies of the Otherworld, and it doesn't matter how many times we watch the season finale—the only way we'll ever know is a nice long explanatory third season. We're looking at you, Netflix...

Is There Going To Be A Season 3 Of 'Fate: The Winx Saga'?

At this point, Netflix has yet to confirm if there will be a third season, but given the major cliffhanger of season two, we have every hope that the announcement is imminent.
In the past, Netflix has stalled on announcing additional seasons of shows until a couple of weeks after its release date in order to gauge popularity. Given Fate is the top streamed show on the platform at the moment, its popularity is pretty evident.

What will happen in season 3?

As mentioned, the ending of season two left Bloom's fate uncertain after she stepped into the Realm of Darkness in order to close the portal. If successful, Bloom would close off the power of the Dragon Flame, but she may not be able to return to the Underworld as a result.
Meanwhile the death of Beatrix has left Stella reeling. Beatrix's decision to help save the underworld—and die in the process—has resolved all conflicts they ever had. Naturally, that's left Stella even more distraught.
New couple Terra and Kat will enter new relationship territory in season three as their budding romance continues, but Terra's cousin Flora is still recovering from the mental and physical toll of battle. It remains to be seen how (or if) she'll ever recover.

When will it be released?

If season three gets the green light from Netflix, it's likely season three would land sometime in late 2023 or early 2024 (going by general production timelines for television series).

Who will be in the cast?

You can expected Abigail Cowen to reprise her role as Bloom, and Hannah van der Westhuysen will come back as Stella.
Precious Mustapha will play Aisha, Elisha Applebaum will play Musa, Pulina Chavez will play Flora and Eliot Salt will play Terra.
Joining them will likely be Robert James-Collier as Saul, Freddie Thorp as Riven and Danny Griffin as Sky.
