Oop — Florence Pugh And Olivia Wilde's Stylists Have Entered The Chat Re Their Alleged Feud

Drama, drama, drama.

Just when you thought the Venice Film Festival was the most chaotic introduction to the world that any movie could have, the heat has been turned up yet another notch. When the Don't Worry Darling cast descended onto the red carpet, all eyes were on Olivia Wilde, then Florence Pugh, then back to Wilde.
They were of course, waiting for the tiniest of hints that something could be amiss between the two, who have reportedly been feuding since filming wrapped on the project.
If you're new here, let us catch you up to speed quickly.

why do people think olivia wilde and florence pugh are feuding?

It all started a few months ago when a few TikToks claimed something might be amiss, due to Pugh's radio silence over the promotion of the film and her snubbing of Wilde's post which praised her hard work on the project.
Then, people started speculating that Pugh was unhappy about Harry Styles and Wilde striking up a romantic relationship on set (which may or may not have been the catalyst for Wilde's subsequent split from Jason Sudeikis).
While this was already chaotic enough, things peaked when Shia LaBeouf (who was the film's original leading man before Styles) leaked videos of Wilde begging him to return to the project, after she told Variety she had fired him. In the video, she speaks of Pugh condescendingly, labelling her 'Miss Flo' — this part is important, as the nickname has become a defining characteristic of all the drama.

how are their stylists now involved?

The Venice Film Festival is a big deal for any new movie, so fans were anxiously waiting to see exactly which cast members would show up to promote it. While Pugh did appear for the red carpet, she missed the press conference and kept her distance from Wilde the entire time. Naturally, this only seemed to confirm growing suspicions that something was wrong.
But, while most people were focused on the red carpet, it turns out there was even more happening behind-the-scenes while the two women were getting ready. Pugh's stylist took to Instagram, uploading a series of shots which showcased the actress' breathtaking Valentino gown and makeup looks. And, while Pugh was undoubtedly the main event, the chosen caption arguably stole the show.
In just two words, her stylist all but confirmed the rumours, writing 'Miss Flo.' Crazier still, her glam team were actually wearing t-shirts with the words 'Miss Flo' embroidered on them.
After TikTok caught on, her stylist deleted the image, which makes it seem as though uploading it in the first place might have been a mistake.
Then, Karla Welch, a Los Angeles-based stylist who often works with Wilde, took to her Instagram stories to write a comment which seems to be a reference to the speculation.
"There's always more to the story…" the she wrote.
The post was followed by other photos of Wilde at the festival, including one where Welch is helping to style her gown on the red carpet.
So now, not only is the entire internet weighing in on the rumours, but so too are people who are quite close to the stars. As with any online drama, everything should be taken with a grain of salt, but when close sources give their two cents, it definitely adds a little more credibility.
Pugh has yet to comment on the drama at all, while Wilde has been attempting to diffuse the situation, labelling the rumours as "noise" when asked about it during the Venice press conference.
For now, we'll have to wait and see if anyone else chimes in with some insight, but one thing is for certain — Don't Worry Darling will have to be one hell of a movie to overshadow all this.
