Jennifer Lawrence is no longer the world's highest-paid actress. JLaw's close friend, Emma Stone, knocked the actress from her franchise throne in this year's Forbes Highest Paid List.
Stone, off the back of her monumental success La La Land (which earned her a handy Oscar for Best Actress), raked in $38.2 million (pre-tax) for the last 12 months.
Lawrence, meanwhile, came down to number three—with another Jennifer, of the Aniston variety, making number two with $32.1 million. Lawrence made a clean $30 mill. Nothing to turn your nose up at.
Number four was comedian Melissa McCarthy (Mike and Molly, Ghostbusters) who made $22 million, whilst number five was Mila Kunis (Bad Moms) with $19.5 million.
The rest of the list went as follows:
Several commentators noted that the list was again dominated by white actress, with not a single actress of colour making the top ten.
