Warning: This article contains major spoilers from Only Murders In The Building season two.
If you've already lapped up the first two episodes of Only Murders In The Building's second season, then you likely spotted a sweet moment between Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez's characters.
On June 28, the season's first episodes introduced Delevingne's character, Alice, who is an art gallery owner who takes a special interest in one of the artworks in her space. Of course, it's a piece of work created by one of the murder mystery show's leads, Mabel, played by Gomez.
As fans would already know, Alice is a new character in the series and becomes Mabel's love interest for the second season. But what fans were besotted to see was the pair sharing their first on-screen kiss in the second episode.
And while fans were over the moon to see their romance unfold on the show, it turns out that Delevingne also found the moment of PDA with Gomez rather enjoyable.
In an interview for E! Online, the model-turned-actress opened up about her TV smooch with the musician and beauty entrepreneur and how it felt to create a relationship on screen.
"It was just fun," Delevingne told the publication, referring to the kiss, adding, "Would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena?"
"It was just hysterical," she said. "It's just one of those things, especially when you know someone so well, it's the comfortability and you kind of have fun with it."
She continued, "We never get to see each other as much because we're so busy. So to be able to spend that much time with her, and also to be able to work with her, she's just such an incredible person to work with whether I know her or not."
"She is brilliant, like, one of my favourite actors I've ever worked with."
Delevingne, who has been openly pansexual since 2020, went onto explain how playing Alice was a privilege for her.
"For me to be able to get to play a queer role meant so much to me, and [Selena] knew that," she said. "To represent that was really exciting."
