It's not just our humble opinion, but sheer fact at this point that Blake Lively can do no wrong when it comes to her killer looks—and her Met Gala Makeup for the 2022 "Gilded Glamour" theme is no exception.
As one of this year's Met Gala co-hosts, Blake was always going to turn up, and it's safe to say her red carpet ensemble left our jaws on the floor.
Arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts with husband Ryan Reynolds by her side, the actress donned an Atelier Versace gown in a metallic dusty rose complete with gloves and tiara. But, the red carpet show wasn't over, with Blake pulling off a costume change as her dress was transformed to an icy blue number, mid-way up the iconic stairs.
Of course, the ensemble and transition was flawless, but even more so was the 34-year-old's complexion.
Matching the tones in her gown, Blake's look, which was the work of makeup artist Kristofer Buckle, was a wash of copper and bronze that found the perfect balance between natural glow and glamour—and we'll absolutely be attempting to pull it off ourselves.
"Blake's look was inspired by warm-toned metals and coppers starting with a bronzed contour on the skin," Kristofer said of the look.
"Her eyes were washed with a combination of matte browns for structure and metallic rose golds and coppers to play off her Versace gown. I made her lips a gentle terracotta tone to bring some brightness to the makeup palette."
The makeup artist also revealed the exact Charlotte Tilbury products used to achieve the look, which we've rounded up below so you can shop them ASAP.
